Rep Question

I should know this by now, but I don't. How do you give someone rep?

And if your into drums....

Here is a pic of my latest kit. It's a Pearl Session Custom (vintage fade). Best sounding toms I've ever heard. I built it from scratch adding all the gucci gear. I canned all the Pearl footgear that came with it stock and swapped for all Tama foot gear(Iron Cobra double pedal and hi-hat stand) because they blow the Pearl footgear away.....super fast and smooth. I also added the 10 inch Pearl "popcorn" snare on the side.....kick-ass rimshots brother!!! I'm looking at ordering a 16 inch tom to expand my low ends a bit. All Sabian brass....zyldjian is good but I like the brighter sound of the Sabian stuff.....lasts longer too. I go thru crashes pretty quick.

Awwwww, that looks really nice. I have 2 sets of Yamahas. One I keep in the rehearsal room and the other I use for gigs and sessions. I also have a set of Leedy's from 1938 with the original Zildjian Cymbals. I actually use the snare sometimes. Fun stuff.

I dont know much about drums, but that looks like the whole deal rite there!!!!! I had a friend in high school who was a great drummer-naturally talented. I tried for a few minutes and knew I had ZERO shot at playing the drumbs. I really wish I had that talant. The guys wit hthe bongo's down at Venice beach on Sat/Sunday are awesome to listen to there is 50-100 people there smoking weed going nuts for hours on end with the bongo's. I wish I could do that(minus the weed), but I have no rythem.

I actually spell better than I play the drums lol

Fatboy, a few lessons on the drums and you wouldn't believe how good you sound. You HAVE to start with the basics, then it's easy to jam along with your favorite songs.

That is a very good looking kit there. I never could play the drums, but I did run sound for many years for a very big sound company in St Louis. I was lucky enough to run FOH for quite a few really good bands.

Fatboy, I had a full ride to go to Oklahoma Univeristy for music in 1986, I chose to go to the Army instead(I dont regret it). I could teach you some basic stuff and I bet you would be fine.

A great friend of mine lives there in Vegas, we had a band in High School and we were pretty damn good. Curt Hill that lives there in Vegas plays all over the world, and another friend that was in the band, Harley Hamm, he has played on a record with Prince, or whatever he calls himself these days.

The band I had in Germany we actually opened for Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Great White at the Christmas Rock Fest in Frankfurt in 1988....great times!
