A primary reason there are not as many women cue makers as there are men at this time is because most either come from or have a machineist background. This is not an industry or background that historically women have come from. In time that may and probably will change. Cuemaking is a beatiful art of form and function, which I do not think either sex have a lock on necessarily. It is an individual talent.
