stale is the word that comes to mind. I think they are great players but its like they are robots.

Am watching it. Oscar seems to be the weak link. Don't really know a lot about him but for a young guy he looks like he has a lot of miles. He must be doing a lot of late hours from the looks of the bags under his eyes

Oscar might be considered the weakest link because of his age and seasoning but he is performing perfect, has not missed a ball yet. He is about to play Ralf next. :smile:

I do agree. I'm european, and I noticed a big difference on the approach and the facial exposure, body language and everything, between the two teams.
Europe needs to cheer up and catch some gear, show some Spirit. Otherwise they'll be sinking..

With Shane you do at least catch a smile from him once in a while. And how about his celebration after he beat Mika, that was far from robotic.. He does however, play like a fine tuned machine. I hope USA keeps it going.. There is a lot of pool left to play!!
hatch seems to be playing with the most fire and passion from the usa team so far. i think he was a great addition to this years team.
Yeah, but the difference exactly is that there is this smile, which europeans so often are lacking.
Being cold blooded is good, being stale or negative not.
Taiwanese players performance seems very emotionless, but they are still relaxed and they are enjoying in a calm way. They are not stones, they are humans who are controlling their nerves in a cool way. (Chao bit of a exception here, but he's still charismatic and never really stale).
With europeans the robot likedness many times means negative facial exposure..
