Balls Used in Mosconi Cup

I haven't seen any of the telecast, but my guess is they are using the TV balls w/the measles cueball. To my knowledge they are only made by Aramith.

Brunswick Centennials are available in a TV edition but Aramith is most likely the paid sponsor for the balls being used. Also, if they are using a measle ball for the TV / stream, only Aramith produces these.

More accurately, Aramith makes the best...

Have seen other measle balls that are not the correct weight etc.

I thought that the new Cents are made by Aramith.

They are. Or more accurately they are both made by Saluc. I believe Aramith is a trade name of Saluc's.

Surprised they are not using the New Aramith Tournament balls, which look very similar to Centenials. Just bigger numbers, and a different circle around the numbers

Perhaps they don't have the new balls in a TV edition yet.

BTW, they don't look all that much like the Centennials imho. On the Aramith TE striped balls the numbers are still contained within the stripe. To me they look more like the Super Aramith Pros only with a couple of half circles added around the numbers.
