I am not sure 9-ball is what television prefers, I think in reality 8-ball would be the most popular for the general public that pool needs to attract. IMO Rotational pool will never make this game popular, but at least 10-ball does not make the sport gimmicky with radar guns, break boxes, and racking the balls in odd positions.
 
If Mika wins this, I`ll start rooting for the USA. Big-O is under immense pressure. Even I would be ashamed if I lost to someone who is playing like Mika. He is a great player, but he screwed us before at the mosconi cup

That's such a terrible mentality. You're placing the entire blame of that event on the account of one mistake. What about all the other misses that the European team made on the road to that hill-hill match? Do they mean nothing?

Mika sucks his year...but so does Neils. Hell, the whole team does.

As does Corey and Oscar. But US is winning, so no one is talking sh*t about them.

They play as a team, and win and lose as a team. Why blame one guy?

Niels played the most solid of the Euro team until his match against Hatch, where he missed 2 balls, the total of balls he missed over 3 days, thats the least of all guys playing.
 
It almost looks like a B-player could win this match. The stress must be getting to both players....big time...

I'm proud to be European, and if that is your attitude you might aswell just cheer on USA right away.

You missed my point. I'm saying that we need to quit singling out players. They are a team. :)
 
Tell me if this isn`t the worst match of 9ball you`ve ever seen?Oscar sucks too but he is leaving his heart on the table.
The others are even acting that they care. Mika is not on his game and he has that I don`t ****ing care attitude.

Seems now that Mika is shooting so free and aggressive, does he think Oscar has enuf game...? If so, that's not disrespectful, it's just balls, it's challenging Oscar and calculating.

What we need is to make the USA team North American, keep Europe as it is, and then add Asia and make it a big round robin ring game type of thing. Let the USA and Europe both tighten their games up to stop the Asian team of
