Try looking into Google Checkout - works the same.
We offer it as a pmt option and have had no problems.

Thank you Sir...
I'm beginning to see that some sort
of payment like this is a necessary
evil, but I'm done with paypal...

I believe the standard merchant rate is 2.9% + .30 cents per transaction
Rates are based on previous month sales so if you do a lot of biz your rate can be lower.
One nice feature is they offer a payment guarantee.
Doesn't hurt you to check it out.

Walmart has a method called a Money Gram. You go to any Walmart, and can send money to anyone, they just have to go a Walmart to pick it up, Walmart pays in cash. You give the receiver a pin number they use to pick up the $$. You can send up to $250 for a $7 fee. Not sure on the limit you can send.

What problems have you had with Paypal? I've used them a lot with good results.

I've been a member of paypal for
about 5 years and I sold a very high
dollar cue that was paid for by using
paypal, and they froze my account.
I was made to feel like I had done
something wrong, and now they
want me to jump through hoops
to get my account thawed out.
I've done nothing wrong, and I
refuse to play their silly games.
So I'm looking for alternatives
to using paypal.

Thank you to all of you who have
given me suggestions as to some
alternative means of receiving/paying
for goods and services...

You can try epassporte.

I have several friends here in the US and in Europe using them and they are happy. I am going to try them out as well as Paypal is becoming a pain. I just sold an inexpensive jump/break on ebay and was paid thru Paypal and they held my money for 2 weeks, but they were more then happy to take their fees out right away.
