An oldie but goodie is to freeze the one and two ball against the middle of the end rail in the center and then rest the three ball on the rail on top of the one and two ball. Then go to the break end and put the cue ball in the center as if you were breaking. Bet them a beer you can shoot the cue ball down the table and hit the three ball first. Then shoot the cue ball softly toward the space between the one and two ball, and then hit the bed of the table with the palm of your hand, the one and two will roll apart and the three ball will drop down and the cue ball will hit it.
