DCC Predictions

I'm pretty excited about the DCC and will be there sweating every second of it.

So here are some predictions.

1. Brian Gregg wins the banks ring game by a landslide again.

2. Shane wins the 9-ball

3. Brumback or Shannon win the bank tournament.

4. John Schmidt wins the one pocket.

5. The same asshole on the rascal scooter will block half the people in the stands from being able to watch the game at the TV table. Those who were there for any of the high profile matches will know the guy I am talking about.

I'm laying 8 to 1, Schmidt does not win the 2010 one pocket...first come, first served...till I run out of cash to post...and I have some $$$$ to wager.

Can I get some of that????????? Your end of course..... You might even have the nuts if you give 20 to 1. roughly 300 players,,,, John not really known for one pocket skills. No disrespect intended to John, he's a great player, and capable of winning. Just not a good bet.

John is probally not the favorite to win the one pocket but he is the defending champ!!
 
I'm glad someone started a Derby City Classic thread on the Main Page. I'm overall disappointed at the lack of discussion on it in its on forum on AZ.

I think by giving the DCC its own forum, not only do old time members stop talking about it, new members may not realize that there is a forum nor would they realize that there even is such an event. And it's the greatest pool event in the world.

Not sure if Shane will win the 9ball this year if he is playing in the team championship in Germany. I know the scheduling is pretty close, maybe even running into the last day of the 9ball. (sorry if that was all discussed and figured out before, I was out of the loop for a bit.)

I think DCC is an awesome tournament. With so many players and short races, there are always a few surprises in store!

Is there an AZ room this year? Guess I missed the deadline if there is. Holidays are busy for me, being a single parent. I don't get on here as much as I did when I was married.

Yes there is an AZ/1P Room and it's detailed in the DCC forum. I hope it's not too late to give money as my check didn't go in the mail until the holiday. It's probably floating around out there somewhere.

I bet its gonna be a blast and if I don't get on my horse and make some money I won't see any of it. Anyone wanna start a "send gpeezy to the Derby fund"?

I agree, the DCC is the greatest show on earth......
 
One of the ladies here at work made me a donation jug a couple of years ago in order to help me go. They actually paid a night for me at the hotel and a day of food with their change. They treat me like their son here where I work lol.
