Great point about the bar owners wanting to get the games over and keep those quarters flowing.
Still, I'd love to tighten up our home bar league tables' pockets. The reaction of the visitors would be priceless as their usual shots started rattling.

The slate shelf is cut so deep that it really isn't going to matter if you extend out the rails or not:wink:
bump..so there's no question about the quality of the Ridgeback rails
Brought forward for new readers.
After reading many threads about how good these rails play, I ordered Ridgeback rails for my Global bar box when SD Billiards recovered with Simonis 860HR. The table plays great because those rails made a big difference.
Mr. Wilson, would you make this thread a sticky as well please.

They may be better rails by opinion but I'd object to making this thread a sticky considering there are other rail sets on the market.
Normally I wouldn't object with you Rick, but seeings how I don't make any money from the sale of the rails, I would sure free up my time not having to answer everyone sending me PMs about where can they find them so they can order them, maybe I'll talk to Kerry about taking out an add on AZ to promote them on the home page instead.

Or - you might consider using an automatic signature with a link.
Seems a conflict of interest for AZB to promote any products via a sticky.

Rick. Do you know of other rails that's built like ridgebacks? What other rails do you suggest?
P.s'. I have the set of rails i got from rick for a valley bar box with Artemis cushions that I will sell if anyone is interested.. The table got sold, but the originals went with it...
They have been recovered twice...the cushions are made in germany k66...$250.oo shipped in the states

Not suggesting any and I have no problem with any member touting any of the rail sets on the market. Just saying that IMO it's a conflict of interest for AZB to promote any rail be it RB, Penguin, OEM-Valley, etc. by way of a sticky.
