Scenario From League Last Night

Hey Guys,

here is the scenario from league last night, This is what my opponent left me.
If i shoot the 1 play shape for the 2, stop the cue in the rack. spotting the cue ball on the Head spot, Can i shoot the 3 as a legal breakshot ?

I ask as well, because i saw Marop do something similar in his last video posting of his 66 ball run.

Actually, he got a little but it was enough to keep going.

Thats what i believed the rule was as well, but i was told otherwise and i was about to raise a stink...... in the end it wasnt worth it, it is only league and i have had enuf arguments this season !!!!

yeah Dennis, he didnt get much !!!! i guess all we can hope for is to have some semblance of a shot after that, instead of scratching off the rack which will probably happen 99.9% of the time......

Pocket that ball in the corner it is closet to and run a high risk of scratching for little reward.Cross over the object ball with high inside
and bank it off the side of the stack into the corner and you have just
opened some "whip ass".Of course if it doesn't go that "whip ass",may
be directed at you!:grin:

I think you guys need a rule book there. Or at least a racking guide found here:

People are always coming up to me and asking what are they to do if......

The one Steve had I've only seen happen a few times.

The other unusual ones are when either the cue ball or the 15th ball is on the head spot and the other ball is in the rack. Then the other ball that was in the rack goes on the center spot.
 
It's funny Dennis, that same scenario came up later in the game as well, I hit it a million mph made the ball and scratched !!!!!!

At that point in the game I really didn't care !

Lik I said I knew I was right, and wasn't about to argue, I ended up shooting the 1 as my break from like the middle of the table. Hit it warp speed, bent the cue ball around the rack in both directions. On the equipment we have at the pool hall, you are really at the tables mercy so you really have to pound alot of shots. And I don't use my set of aramiths with my delta for league, then everybody would cry that I am cheating and am trying to get an edge.
When all I am doing is playing with a true set and a super tight rack..... Hmmm what do they really know anyways ????
