Can you believe that!!

All original since it was born now still in unbelievable excellent condition, was made with only one shaft as per original owner's request, shaft still stays at 13.3mm. With Laurie's aid, I made two brand new shafts for this rarity and got her an ID (LOA), the cue is Macassar ebony nose while it is so dark and even darker than most of Gaboon we've seen nowadays.

quoted from Lauire the description of the cue as below:

The cue looked initially like Gaboon but it is Macassar ebony. I didn't want there to be confusion regarding the Certificate. I found the original record that matched; weights, balance point etc.and it originally came with 1 shaft. If you look at it in direct sunlight you see the brown in the wood although no streaking as we are accustomed to with Macassar. Indoor lighting is very difficult to tell.

Enjoy as always, you SW lovers:grin:

Matt on birthday : )

Great idea to get the letter and buy new shafts at the same time.
Interesting cue, thanks for posting the pics and comments from Laurie Franklin.

no prob, its a pity to leave such kind of cue alone with only one shaft:)

Very nice, one of the few sw wood combos i actually like. I guess they play ok too.....nice get.
