One Pocket Challenge and Fatboy Challenge

The 2010 One Pocket Challenge will be held on Jan. 23-25 and is open to all players. The entry fee is $50 with a minimum of $1,250 in added money. We are still accepting donations to the added money. Contact me or Steve Booth for details.

It will be held once again in the AZ/OnePocket room from Noon to Midnite each day. Total prize money will be divided as follows - First 40%, Second 30%, Third 20% and Fourth 10%. Sign ups are all on site. Added Money Donors - Greg Sullivan $1,000, Jay Helfert $100, Steve Booth $100, Roy Steffensen $50.


The 2010 Fatboy Challenge will be held on Jan. 26-28 and is open to any player. The field is limited to the first sixteen players. Entry fee is $500 with $5,000 added. Prize money will be divided 50% to First, 25% to Second, 12.5% to Third-Fourth.

All matches are Ten Ball, Race To Fifteen and it is Single Elimination. Entry fees are also paid on site, but I am taking names at this time. If you want to play or back someone, contact me at jayhelfert@yahoo.com.
 
We just received another $50 donation to the added money for the One Pocket Challenge. Total added is now $1,300! The goal is $1,500. We need another $200.
 
In the Fatboy Challenge, Francisco Bustamante is entered, along with Alex Pagulayan and Chris Bartram. Johnny and Shane are still maybe's. Dennis Hatch should be playing as well. I've had inquiries from a few other players, but nothing definite. I'll keep you posted.

Add Charlie Williams and Rodney Morris to the Fatboy. This one will probably fill up early. So make your move!
 
I "T" pledge to make at least two attempts in the One Pocket Challenge.

(This is pretty much donating but it will be fun! lol)

We just received a $200 donation to the One Pocket Challenge from Trigger. That brings our total to $1,500 Added! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
 
If there is a player who is interested in playing in the Fatboy and needs a stake horse, I have someone who is willing to put up half ($250). Or maybe a stake horse needs some help to put a player in. Let me know.

If they are allright with putting John Schmidt in we will do the other half.
 
Do you have a current list for the Fatboy challenge? And have the dates been finalized?

Talked to Johnny today. Looks like all three are in. So we've got Alex, Francisco, Schmidt, Bartram, Rodney, Charlie, Corey, Shane and Johnny so far. Dennis H. will play if he comes to DCC. Efren as well. Shaping up to be a good one!

So you are saying that Efren might not be at DCC? I was told by Puyat-staff that he and django would definitely be there

Hey there everyone this is Shaun Wilkie.. This looks to be a great challenge event.. I was checking to see if any stake horses would offer to put me in? I would love to play and as always, I would play my heart out for whoever grants me a opportunity.. please send me a message back if anybody is interested? Most of my funds are going towards the trip, so I would appreciate any help to play in this event, Thanks**
 
Recent call-ins include Stevie Moore, John Morra and Shannon Murphy. I'm thinking this will fill up fast this year.
