After spending the past 2 days with Scott, I heartily recommend him to anyone who wants to elevate their game to a higher level.

I have been playing for over 40 years and learned more in the last 2 days than I ever thought was possible.

Scott is a true gentleman as well as a fine instructor. (and he doesn't play half bad :-)

Did you beat him out of a thousand dollars on that crazy prop shot of his??? I still have my $1000 bill at home!

Nope, no trick shots...played 3 sets of 9-ball. I got the jump on him by winning the first one 11-2. The second set was his at 11-6. The 3rd set was 6-6 before he won 11-6. We split at Einstein-Nine.

Scott plays well so I was glad just to not get blown out. But with all of my new things to work on I should see some dramatic improvement by the time he comes back...with any luck at all I will elevate my play to an A level within the next 3 months. That's my goal anyway.
 
Fred...Let me be the first one here to congratulate you, on becoming the newest member of our SPF family of BCA instructors! I thoroughly enjoyed working with you. You know what lies in front of you, and I'm confident that you'll accomplish your goals! Thank you so much for your, and your family's hospitality. Give my best to J.R., and keep in touch on your progress!

Me...I'm headed to Sacramento...be there tomorrow, and then over to San Ramon for the pool school this weekend, at Crown Billiards. Amazingly this school did not sell out, so there is still room if someone wants to enroll. Classes will run 9am-6pm this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Fred, I am so jealous. This is my 2 or 3rd time just missing Scott. You were just talking about taking this course a few weeks ago as kind of a plan for the future and just like that it's done. That is great that you got a chance to play Einstein nine with Scott. ~~~~Scott have a safe trip to the west coast and good luck with the pool school.:)

Scott don't panic I am on my way! Keep your tailpipe clear of snow and if the people in the neighboring cars start looking at you kind funny lock your doors, I think Donner pass has a history of blizzards and cannibalism:eek:.
 
I'm a little late posting this, but I had the pleasure of meeting Scott back in 1998-99. I booked him to come put on a show at my college. He is a stand-up guy and really gives his all in what he does. It also helps to be able to tell when a man truly enjoys, and has passion for, what he does.

Fred...Gee, that guy LOOKS like he has pretty good form...wonder if he can play? LOL I sure had fun working with you, and I'm glad you're already jumping in and using the new information to share with your students! Can't wait to work with you in one of our "road show" pool schools, when we come to CO.
