New camera learning curve

Nice wood! :grin-square: If you see the pics I posted of my Jerry -R- you can see some differences because of lighting, I took some pics indoors and then outdoors. The outdoor pics give the indoor pics the 5.

Rorce, I didn't know you built custom cues. That's really cool!!!! I'm sure you'd be a fine builder. Why did you stop?

Eric,

I built just a few over many years. Maybe 10 or 20 I guess. I was just a tinkerer.

Since we started OB Cues, all my equipment pretty much moved over to specialized shaft equipment so I really haven't done anything in several years. I have been getting the urge though, so maybe you'll see something before too long. I am sure I will shoot some pics and post them up here for everyone to pick it apart. Lol!

I have allot of catching up to do! Cues have become very beautiful over the last several years.

very very cool woods there...awesomely figured...what's the wood #3 & #6 in pic 5?...any jatoba in that batch???:grin-square:

The third from top is jatoba. The bottom is narra.

The first pic, second from left is indeed olive, a very fine example of olive.

WOW!!! Just saw this thread and i again am amazed by the quality of the wood you get get, Eric.

But looks alone is not enough, you need to top it up with playability, which i think that Eric's cue top both departments.

Great job Eric, thanks again for the wonderful pics and may your 2010 comes out with even better cues then 2009.

Cheers!!!

Kevin
