I live in that area and prefer to play out of Jimmy's Pro billiards. It is a 10-15 minute drive, but that is no farther than any other hall around. Nice diamond tables, good day specials, professional atmosphere. PM me if you are looking for friendly action, I always enjoy meeting and playing new players.

Yea, the area really sucks for pool halls. You only have 4 pool halls/bars within 10 miles!
They all have 20+ tables. You can add Biffs to Troy's list. If you just want to play and not worry about loud music and alcohol, then Jimmy's is the places to go. CR's has a bar table 8-ball tourney Friday nights. Seriously, you could hit all of the places in one night.

Ah maybe I'll hit that 8-ball tourney at CR's. I'm just there for a little bit-- not looking to gamble -- just hit some balls, drink beer, and CHILL.

Your in my back yard. How many days are you going to be here.
I drive to minneapolis almost everyday to play and give lessons. Right now mostly lessons. Having surgury on my shoulder soon. I can play one day but not so much the next.

There are about 5 main places. There's Shooters in Burnsville. If you flew in this will be the closest to you. This is where the most action is.
There's also Jimmys Pro billiards on Central. This is way north and so is CR Billiards and Two Stooges.
There's also Biff's and their up north also.
For the action your best bet will be Shooters .
Friday night will be kind of tough for me to make it there but I am going to get there Saturday.
