Case Value???

hey guys, i've had this It's George case 3x6 for about 2 years now, and i recently just got an old Whitten case 2x4 that was cleaned and polished. but i was wondering what the current value of these case would be? thanks in advance

The George 3 X 6 are hard to find. I haven't seen one for sale for awhile, and I don't track their values, but they used to go for $300 - $350 on e-bay. That one is nice because it has the long pocket.

How much did you pay for it?

The It's George 3x6 case: Last one on E-bay sold for $250, they've been going for $300+ here on AZB depending on condition. Last one I saw for sale on AZB was $450. Yours has a large storage pocket and handle. The handle wasn't standard, I believe. As long as the lid isn't cracked and it seals properly when closed then fortune smiles upon you. I know that some early ones also had the jump sleeve. If there is a little bit of velcro in the long pocket...
 
the lid is not cracked and it does seal perfectly, i have the key to lock it, and it does have the jump cue sleeve with the velcro attachment...its in really good shape

I think one sold for $270 at the denver auction.
 
Case value

The Whitten is the older 'heavier' style, not the new lite version. But it's still a great case built like a tank. I would say it's worth around $175-$225. Of course, tricky to say with the crazy economy of pool values these days.

Then I would estimate somewhere around $300-$400... Its got some wear from general use, looks like its in decent condition. PM me if you're interested in a trade.
