You've see me say it before, but I still haven't been paid....The bills are coming up and they need to be paid..Mainly I just need this for rent and my girlfriend is getting her masters degree..Has to pay for her class..


I'm proposing to sell my cue out right for $2200 or let me borrow $1,500 on consignment for my cue until I get paid. I will send my cue to whoever let's me borrow the money. As of the Friday I'm owed $3,750..So paying the $1,500 won't be a problem. I will pay interest or can give you another cue for doing me this favor. Rent is right under $1,000 and her class is $450..

Now to the cue it is Custom Made 1/1 by James Hanshew of Waco, Texas. I just got the cue in December the Day before Christmas. It is the nicest cue James has made to date.

All the white is ivory, except ferules (buckhorn)

I would really prefer to borrow the money instead of selling this...This is my first custom ordered cue and it plays better than any cue that I've ever had..

Worse comes to worse I can sell my 60" Plasma or Dinning room table...

$450 for a master's level class? I'm paying $800/credit! Where is she getting her degree from???

Ron, it sounds like a tuition monthly payment. Not for a full class.
 
WOW, thats a hard one. Girlfriends education or my beautiful cue. I dont know how I would lean on this one. I think your a better man than I would be in that situation. I wish you the best of luck Zac.

It was a tough decision, but it's not like I'm never getting the cue back..I figured sacrificing a couple of weeks for the woman I love is well worth it..I have responsibilities, and I figured if I had to wait a year and a half to get the cue from the maker, what's a couple of weeks..

Ron she is taking courses at UTA and the courses are all online, maybe that's why it is cheaper..She is a teacher on top of all of that..

And on top of it all, yesterday was 4 years..

I'm glad to see a good Samaritan is able and ready to help you out. It's a virtuous gesture. And it looks like you were right on with UTA's tuition rates. Online courses, State school, whatever the reason, good for you and her. I sleep well knowing my tuition is going toward buying the Pope new diamonds for his shoelaces. So I got that going for me.

I hope everything works out for you, and if you're ever visiting northeast PA, gimme a shout and we'll roll a few balls.

Thank you all, I am just glad I was in a position to help. I think it was meant to be: I was going to buy a southwest off of a seller on AZB but we were unable to meet this last weekend because of weather in the Denver area and then I got sick...so it sold. Well, since I had the money together I fugured I'd use it for good, rather than evil :).

Shane, the case is still calling your name :thumbup:. I'm glad you're friends w/Zach, it makes it more fun for me, too.

Again, glad I could help. I know many of you would do the same if you could, and this time it worked out for the best.

John lost 2 games at 2 bills a game. They played even for about 5 hours for 1 bill a game and John finally got tired. He played Shaky Dave some 50 and 5 Golf for about 7 hours before that so he had a long day, not to mention the 150 mile drive. He is a player....
