Tasmanian Devil

this is a cue repair for a local customer. he specifically requested for a tasmanian devil character on the butt. so here it is being done...

Back in 82 through 85 I was in college and we learned how to make our own tools. I appreciate the pics of the craftsman in action. The modification of the old hack saw blades is great and it looks like you are tapping the chisel with a old vise jaw. Certain home made tools have become my favorites and are hard to replace once you get used to them. Nice work on the inlay and thanks for the awesome pics.

many thanks for your kind words sir. credit goes to mervin, (the young man in the photos & video) one of the cuemaker's 2 sons who is in-charge of the inlay designs. i am not the cuemaker sir, i am a direct partner who is in-charge of all the business aspects.
