Need help on used Meucci

Is it you who's trying to sell this? Don't understand why you keep bumping the thread. Looks to me like the consensus is$250 -$500

I keep bumping it to keep it current for a few reasons, I am trying to buy it, I know the right range and I hope to acquire it for that. I am also looking to get as much feedback from different people on this venue b/c I respect the opinions of the other & more experienced players & collectors that visit this site. And there are some very highly acclaimed people that subscribe here. I intend to show that multiple feedback from the good people of this site to my less-than-informed seller to support my realistic offer, and maybe get him to come down from his billowy cloud (or ivorine tower as the case may be) to realize that even if he did pay more for it than my offer, it is used with discrepancies and can't really be considered for any sort of numismatic value. He is also not the 2nd owner of this cue, he is the 3rd or maybe more. Like a car, it will only depreciate in value, especially with use and time.
Thanx,
---Bill

I'd pass on it. Sounds like you are expending a whole lot of effort over this cue. A little searching will find one in the right condition for the money you are looking to spend. If he's firm on his price, why not find something you can afford.

I just bought a 1 of 3 McDermott custom with 2 shafts here for less than $500. $1300 for a beat up production Meucci is just out of line.

What did you end up paying for it?

I paid twice the amount you said you would pay for it. I gave him my word when I first examined/played this cue, and I am a man of my word. I feel good about my purchase. I can't wait to get my new shaft made by Mike Erwin, I spoke with him yesterday as per SUN526 suggested.
I used my red dot shaft from my 97-28 Meucci, and really loved the way it hit.
