Good day all, I am doing some market research and would like your input on how different joint styles rank in terms of market share. In other words not the best type just which ones are the more common in your opinion.
Thanks for your input

Schon Cue......

I had to look up my Schon to see what type of joint it had. This is what I found: All Schon cues are made with 5/16 x 14 piloted stainess steel joints.

Okay, I'll play it straight. I've switched to a cue with a radial...and love it.
But very common, probably the most common is 5/16 X 14.

Since the question is most common I would think 5/16x18 tops the list.
Remember the question does not ask what you play with or what you think is best or what you would like to try. It asks most common

Many years ago some friends took me to a joint that had a bunch of girls up on a stage and they weren't wearing shirts. It was on the beach in Santa Monica, and the girls were setting up a stage for a "Shakespear in the park' something or other. It was my buddies who weren't wearing shirts, why? What did you think? :D

Are you looking for the most common of ALL cues in use by all pool players or the most common on custom cues and higher end production cues that are in use by the majority of the members you are polling?
Wondering does your market research concern what type of joint protectors to make or stock?
Remember there are a few different Radials.
Also a lot of the 5/16x18 people don't really buy protectors.

I like the fat screw too, just something I got used to, playing with McDermotts..

How is this a contest?

Used to be, when someone was looking for some market research from the masses, AT LEAST, they would promise something as a prize in their "contest"

I dislike spammers

Once the product is ready to go to market I promise I will do a give away, although it may have a skill testing question
