Been seeing this term lately on the forums. As the title of the post states, what is it? I have been contemplating about whether to take lessons or not. And my main concern is who to take lessons from. Any clarification and suggestions would be appreciated.

sold pending funds Is what I know it as but being as you mentioned lessons I am guessing it is something else

Hmmmmm.

With the summer coming, I thought it meant "Sun Protection Factor"???

That is why it has been listed on the boards recently.

Gotta protect your skin!!!

Fobstarr...SPF stands for the three stops we all do, in our setup and delivery of the cuestick (stop at the CB, after the last warmup; stop at the end of the backswing, to change direction smoothly; and stop where your cue finishes, at the end of your range of motion). We call these stops Set, Pause, Finish, to denote what we do, and differentiate between the three different stops. It's a training regimen that helps many players create an accurate, repeatable and sustainable stroke setup and delivery process, for the cuestick. If you're interested in working with an SPF instructor, let us know where you are located, and we'll steer you to one.
