I'm scratching my head like your avatar. So the previous owners left the cue on accident in the house that you purchased? Shouldn't you do the right thing and return it to them. I know it is their responsibility to check the house when moving out but still....maybe I am reading this wrong. I will drink some beers tonight and check back around 11.

Looking at how well the wrap looks and the design, this is by no means a cheap cue. No markings anywhere?

Bill Schick copy

I have no idea who made this cue, but I do know Bill Schick made quite a fancy cue some time ago, of which this appears to be a copy. I am at work right now, but have pictures of this cue at home, sent to me by Mike Gartland a few years ago, that I can post if anyone wants to see them. Since I have no idea who built this cue, I could not guess as to a fair market value.

As for the ethics behind selling an item such as this, apparently left behind by the previous home owner, the seller will have to decide for himself what would be the correct thing to do.

This guy should really try to find the owner, if he just found the cue in a house he just bought.

Then if he does, the person that claims to be the owner of the cue should be asked to provide some kind of proof, that he in fact is the owner - and why did he leave the cue.

Who knows what the story would be, maybe that big long haired, blonde bounty hunter was at his door and he had to leave in a hurry.

I wouldn't automatically return the cue back - but I would consider it ;)

This is a sticky one ! ( No pun intended - sticky - stick - lol )

I agree with you.If it was in the deal of purchasing the house that's one thing but if not then its not yours to sell and kind of tells a little about you morally.I'll be honest and say that this story is another sales pitch to sell a cue in my opinion.Good Luck but I doubt you need it!

IMO it was a weak attempt to try and pull a fast one. I mean the cue had no case, no thread asking for an id of a cue he found, just some ruse coupled with a quick sale enticement. ICBWBIDTS

Wow!

I love the way the butt points extend into the cap! Haven't seen that before, I think it is awesome.

I personally would not be able to ID a Moori soft and medium without comparing to a few others side by side first...

This cue has "made in the Philippines" written all over it in my opinion. Audrick is one maker that comes to mind.

Pretty cue. I just wouldn't want to accidentally forget my cue in the pool hall this person plays or works in. Forgot my set-up ONCE, and a good person was nice enough to return it.

Yes...my first thought this afternoon was Phillipino made...

Now my other first thought...

The Schick is AWESOME !!!

Appears to be my all time favorite !!!

fyi the cue did have a case and i did ask if anyone knew who made it and also i aquired the house in an irs auction so maybe all the furniture that was in the house i should return also if thats the case
