who makes the best plane janes?

I guess I wouldn't exactly call Kevin Varney's cues plain janes as his wood combinations and ring work really jazzes up his cues. But if we're talking no inlays, points and veneers, then I'd say I've always been impressed with Kevins cues. I'd like to play with one and word on the street is they play pretty snazzy to.

I know I've mentioned this in several posts and probably will in more, but the PH conversion I got from LP is absolutely the best cue I've owed to date.
No doubt in my mind that Lee can also make you a PJ that hits great and reasonably priced.

A few to choose from...........

Joe Baker, Bryan Mordt (BCM cues), BHQ, Masonh, Varney, LP custom's.............And the hits just keep on comin!

Also...........

I believe Darrin Hill had a really nice BEM, Cocobolo PJ for sale here a little while back. It looked very nice, and was priced to sell. I think you can search him under the AZB moniker, Hillscues.

Fast -n- Loose here at AZB, also had a killer Scott Gracio Braz. Rosewood fullsplice with Ivory ferruled shaft, that was priced to steal, I mean sell.... Good luck!

I`m gonna have to throw Jeff Olney in this mix. Jeff makes a heck of a cue for the price.
His fit & finish is awesome, so is his customer service.

tony zinzola makes an awesome cue....and you might be able to find a pj for sale on here.....i had a great birdseye that was a killer player....
