I have a Palmer second catolog model J for sale. It was made for Vickie from the Pasadena Cuettes. SOLD

Specs as follows.

Palmer Model J
2 shafts with Micarta ferrules.
1st shaft weighs 4.5 oz. with a 13.55 mm tip. This shaft rolls good.
2nd shaft weighs 4.3 oz. with a 13.30 mm tip. This shaft has a tapper roll or wobble when rolled.
Butt weighs 16.00 oz..

1 Is this a Spain or Szamboti forearm? I think it is Szamboti, but I am not near enough of an expert to make the determination.

2 Has the cue been refinished?

3 It looks to have been re-wrapped, is this the case?

Answer to your questions to the best of my knowledge.

I am not an expert but I think it is a Szamboti forearm as well.

2 Has the cue been refinished?

As far as I know not to my knowledge. It appears to be the original finish.

3 It looks to have been re-wrapped, is this the case?

I would say yes it has been re-wrapped at some point.

IMO I believe it to be a Szamboti blank. Cue is still available.
