From the photo's it appears to be Macasar or striped ebony, I do not think it is possible to identify the species.

OK, I have the answer and i will list it below but first i would like to thank everyone for trying to help. Southwest cues has been wonderful and has
gotten back to me within 12 hours of me sending them the email and props
to them for a speedy answer.
"Hello Scott
#47693 is solid nose Macassar ebony. Left here in October 1993 19.6 oz; 2 shafts 13mm. It started out in Southern California."
I told him that it was Macassar in the thread he posted in the For sale section.
