Had a few Schons, a FAL-10 Falcon, C-18 McDermott, Meucci's...but my 30 yr. old Huebler hits so sweet!

Interestingly enough, the Pand B survey of pros had 3 x as many of the pros using predators than any other cue. I am sure a lot of them juast go where they can get an endorsement deal, but none the less, predator was the overwhelming favorite.

Mezz is a really solid cue. I shot with a Mezz cue for about 6 months and was very happy with the way it played. Just didn't like the Irish Linen wrap. I have a Predator BK2 and a Predator Air and both are pretty good but not great. Mezz is probably better than Predator and costs less. Mezz cues seem to play very similar to Predator cues, both of which I like. A buddy of mine has a $3000 Schon and I love the way it plays. Schon is the best production cue I've shot with.

$3000 Schon??!
Well.........it's supposed to be better than Mezz or other production cues ...... otherwise ........... ;)

House stick, cause if I can shoot well with any house stick, I can shoot well with any stick.

I do own and shoot with a Adam Custom Cue GB2.

My dad has a $2400 Schon with a ton of ivory and cocobolo inlaid in it. It's insanely nice. Leave it to the fellas at Schon to make skull inlays out of pure ivory.

I see that a lot of people voted for Schon and most of the commenting is about Schon cues. I played with a Schon for a few years around 20 years ago. I really liked the play of that cue, for a production cue. It was a nice improvement over the Meucci that I had played with prior to getting the Schon.

Since then, like many of you, I've owned many different production and custom cues. I owned a Nova cue that I think played better than the Schon, though I don't think Nova is a production cue.

I've played with some Pechauer cues that I think played really good. Of course, not all of them play the same, since there is a lot of different styles of Pechauer cues, unlike Schon, which seems to be pretty much the same setup for all their cues.

Anyone have opinions on the Pechauer cues.

Cheers,
Skippy

Seems really funny to me that more people didn't choose Pechauer. They have a great line of cues ranging from the novice to the pro. Virtually any price range you could fit into is there, with the same quality work going into all cues. Most importantly, they have great customer service, flawless work, and are made in the USA. Custom work is fast and easy too. I've had customers of mine inquire about getting custom work from Schon..no way. Heck, even Meucci can do custom orders! I love the hit of my Pechauer!

I'll toss in my vote for Pechauer...

...as I've had it for several years and am very satisfied with it. It is weighty (I shoot better with the heavier weights) and yet incredibly well-balanced.

I voted for Schon. I have owned and played with most of the cues listed. I always find myself going back to my Schons. The quality is amazing for a production cue. The same cues from a manufacture can hit different. I have had Schons that I did not like the hit, and others that I loved. I really like the Schons with the laminated handles. They hit a little stiffer than a solid maple handle. Put on OB shaft on it and you have one mean hitting cue.
