Ingredients:
6 Totally hosed up GC4 rails, glue, staples, cushions, cloth, some slivers of wood, 1 Cobra, and a crapload of time and sweat.

Directions:
Combine ingredients above and bake in the Tucson sun for several days at 105 degrees, (in the shade I might add). Then watch the Cobra:
1. Cut down the height,
2. Increase the width,
3. Fix the cushion angle,
4. Change the bevel,
5. Adjust the down angle,
6. Modify the casting to rail connections,
7. Trim the rail trim, (that's right, it was too long and interfering).
8. Do a bunch of other stuff I just pretended to understand.

Serves 9, (rails that is, cue ball will bank 9 rails with a hard toss)

Results: All corner pockets dead nuts 4.5 inches. Sides came out perfect as well.

Truly an eye opening experience. I had no idea one set of basically new rails could be so torqued up, or that anyone would be able to fix them!

My very sincere thanks to the RealKingCobra. It was more than worth the wait. Thanks Glen.

James,

What side of town are you on? Do you play out of any of the pool halls?

Pictures will be coming

where's the pictures, you no the rules, James.
We left for vacation in Ohio right after Glen finished. In fact we're still here/there, Ohio that is. I'll post pictures when I get home later this week.

Hi Chris, I live in the SE part of Tucson in Rita Ranch. I also play at Lenny's, (Pockets on Wilmot), on the Tuesday 9 ball league. Maybe I'll see you there sometime.

Sounds like a billiard mechanics cadence, like the old military cadence songs.

Pictures As Promised

Its a shame you can't see all the work that happened under the cloth. The rail height, width, and angles were all a mess. All I can say is that it plays every bit as well as it looks. If there are still any non believers out there, take it from an engineer who use to think he was a perfectionist. This Cobra guy is the real deal. Thanks again Glen.

Hopefully not so hot the next time you're in AZ.

Besides working on your pool table...I also made a new friend:D

Same here buddy. Hopefully the next time you're in Tucson, or Arizona for that matter, I'll be in the fall or winter when its under 105. :D
I live here and it was almost too hot for me. I swear I lost some brain cells. Oh wait, I guess maybe that ship had sailed already. :D
Catch you on the flip side pal.
