Ingredients:
6 Totally hosed up GC4 rails, glue, staples, cushions, cloth, some slivers of wood, 1 Cobra, and a crapload of time and sweat.
Directions:
Combine ingredients above and bake in the Tucson sun for several days at 105 degrees, (in the shade I might add). Then watch the Cobra:
1. Cut down the height,
2. Increase the width,
3. Fix the cushion angle,
4. Change the bevel,
5. Adjust the down angle,
6. Modify the casting to rail connections,
7. Trim the rail trim, (that's right, it was too long and interfering).
8. Do a bunch of other stuff I just pretended to understand.
Serves 9, (rails that is, cue ball will bank 9 rails with a hard toss)
Results: All corner pockets dead nuts 4.5 inches. Sides came out perfect as well.
Truly an eye opening experience. I had no idea one set of basically new rails could be so torqued up, or that anyone would be able to fix them!
My very sincere thanks to the RealKingCobra. It was more than worth the wait. Thanks Glen.
