I'd say it's 50-50 you ever ship the cue. Look, you already got the money, it's doubtful the law will come after you, or anybody else. You can get away with it probably.
It's just a small blemish on your conscience anyway, and you'll get over that after a while. Pretty soon you won't even have a conscience anymore. You will have graduated to the rank of Sociopath. I agree that something is not adding up if the cue can't be shipped immediately - there are no excuses left.

Out of generosity, Tate has offered free shipping on his FedEx account. If I was given that level of help, i would be running out the door tonight to make sure I get to FedEx before they close. FedEx provides free shipping tubes.
My advice, after shipping the cue, I would post the tracking number here.
Then mutually work it out with the buyer and Tate, about return the shipping fee.

If this was a face to face transaction, and you tried to pull this chit, more often than not you would not like the consequences at all. That money would be taken back, with a strong arm. Please don't post tracking numbers on public forums. This is how things get ripped off. Once someone has a tracking number they can often get a package rerouted with not much effort.
It's just not safe. It's enough if the shipper sends the tracking # to the receiver.

You stopped responding to my messages from thursday, you were on here everyday after but chose to ignore me untill Monday night when I said Ill be putting a dispute in with paypal and creating a thread so don't try and make it look like I wasn't giving the whole story because everything I have said has been exactly how it's gone down. You've still not given me any explanation for the gap in communications, and now I see you've bought another cue no doubt with my money. If I were you I would get the shipping money today and send it expressed as promised or get to a fedex depot and send it to TATE. Frank (Almostgood) called me this morning. He's shipping the cue to me today. I'll make arrangements to get the cue to UKpooladdict.
Frank was respectful and I believe sincere. He's not a kid - he's a young adult who is at the moment waiting for the construction business to pick up in Ohio. He has offered to get the shipping money back to me when he can. He was counting on the money to come through and his mom's overdraft really messed him up.
I would like to explain why I offered to help. I know quite a few families who are suffering hardship right now. His story had the ring of truth and I felt bad for his mom. I'm helping another family who is in this boat right now, and it just struck me that offering some help was what was needed.
