Has anyone else seen the new series of articles on CTE by Roger Long?

Hello out there, I enjoy reading articles by many instructors and on the AZ Billiards Home page listed under Columns, there is a great deal of useful information written by many of the leading columnists from the major billiards publications.

The newest column I just saw today was the first article in a series on CTE "Center To Edge" which is an aiming method by forum member Roger Long. I think the first article is interesting to say the least, and I personally can't wait for the next addition to the series, I hope this helps explain this system in terms that all can understand.

Cte?

I have seen several articles about this and also ignored them. I have been playing for 37 years and haven't heard about it before it showed up on AZ. It will be interesting to see what a master instructor has to say about it. I will be waiting for part 2!

Hey Bob how is it going, if you are in the area stop by the by. I also have never heard of this system except on the forum, I am also looking forward to see how Roger breaks it down.

Take care Bob

Not trying to hi jack , But Roger if you are reading this ...
It seemed to be non biased .
By the way , no hard feelings . We both know I am
guilty of what you had to say . I will tell you why I think there is so much controversy and loyalty regarding it , if you still want my opinion on it .
Just shoot me a pm

everyone has a sale

I just can't see it as I need my cheaters again.I'll be back.

I'm glad I read his CTE part-1 article. It just re-motivated me to get this technical doc completed (it's about 85% there - complete with Dr. Dave's two example diagrams, etc.).

I'm kinda surprised Roger is putting together a CTE series. It took Stan and I about 5000 hours between the two of us to get everything reverse-engineered from Hal (probably because outside of Hal - we were on our own at the time). A physicist friend of mine spent countless hours in AutoCAD working out math/geometry behind the technique. I'm eager to read about Roger's knowledge of the subject.

Can you believe I said that?

In a nutshell, this article says you are either for or against CTE. It really doesn't say what CTE is. I'm guessing Roger may discuss this in the next article?

He sent me a pm about it and basically that is what it was about .
Why people were for or against it , and some such as me seemed to
take offense so easily about some of the comments he made . He was
not asking how it worked ,just why certain people were so for or against it .
I took a lot of his comments in the past as sarcastic . He claims that I took it wrong , but at the time it seemed to be sarcasm .

I tried combining CTE with BHE but I missed the cue ball.

Sorry bout that, past my bedtime.
