The biggest thing is adjusting to the slight difference in aiming that comes with a larger cue ball. The same cut shot that you hit with a regulation ball is going to be a little off with a larger ball, because if you aim them exactly the same the contact point is going to be off a little bit. You have to make the adjustment. You also need to know that the heavier cue ball is going to tend to "roll out" more, meaning that if you hit your normal stop shot (that you would hit with a regulation ball) it's actually going to follow a little bit (with the heavier cue ball). Like Glen said, avoid draw on any shot with more than a diamond between CB and OB. Plan to play most of your shape with follow, and you'll be fine.
