My New Runde Cue

Just got it yesterday...she's a beauty!

Ebony nose with Brazilian rosewood & Maple re-cut points and butt sleeve. 3/8x10 pin with half ivory joint and inlays...top it off with a perfect leather wrap!

That's a wonderful, classic, bold beauty. Love the ring above the wrap, and the meaty re-cuts. Leaves a lot of lights showing out from the maple. Very nice!
 
I'm a Runde cue fan and I was wondering what's up with the 3/8x10 pin i've seen on the last couple of new Runde cues? Do you know if he's using this pin on most of his new cues and your cue is the second new Runde i've seen with one shaft instead of two? I like the style of your new cue......

As far as the shaft, that's a cost cutting option. 3/8's 10 doesn't matter, he'll use about any pin I ask for

Thanks for the info. All of the Runde cues i've owned all had 5/16x14 thread joints, piloted on the SS jointed cues and flat faced on the ivory jointed Runde cues. You probably don't remember, but I bought a Runde S/P cue from you and it played great. The only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that it didn't have veneers on the points and that bothered me enough for me to sell that cue. I hated to let it go because it played so well, but I wanted to find another cue which was wrapless and had veneered points. I found exactly what I was looking for in my full spliced, veneered pointed Blackcreek cue, but I do miss that Runde.......

Did it sell or not,i was thinkg of taking the under at 21 days

the cue is beautiful and i know you have trouble turning down an offer when someone wants your cue
