I've retired from playing pool and selling my small collection.I have two Chudys one a quilted cocobolo DOS EQUIS with ivory and silver, and a charcoal maple FLIP DESIGN with an ivory joint.butt cap and ivory rings A-E. Both cues are like new. Photos can be seen on the rc3 (inside pool ) website -grassley1,2, and 0205-0209. Both cues are worth 5k each and I would sell both as a package for ,firm. If interested pm me or contact me at 843-347-9136 or nostroke@sccoast.net.

Richard advises that he is no longer making these designs and that quilted cocobolo is extremly rare

I see the charcoal flip "grassley1,2" but the 0205-0209 looks to be ebony can't see any quilted coco.

True. I referred to that photo just to give an idea what the cue looked like. I do have some photos that i can send you if interested. 3500 per cue are dealer prices. Either cue looks and plays as good as any cue for sale in the 4-5000 range. Buy both, keep the one you like best, sell the other for 4500 and you have a winner for 2500. Let me know if you want the pics.thanks

Just a bit of advice...

You are asking a fair amount of money for your cues. It may help your sale by providing current pictures and specifications such as weight and width in your post. It also may help to provide the links to other sites so potential buyers do not get discouraged by having to do a search themselves. This post is only meant to help you facilitate your sale.

Good Luck with your sales,
Chris

this happens more and more these days.

for anyone reading this you should make it easier for people to decide to hand you money. specs on what you're selling. pictures you take yourself so people can see the current condition are always a good idea.

i really dig Richard's work and i haven't seen 1 cue from him that i wouldn't consider a work of art. GL with your sale

THANKS AZers FOR YOUR COMMENTS. I'M NEW TO THE COMPUTER AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO ATTACH PICS. THAT IS WHY I REFERRED VIEWERS TO THE INSIDE POOL SITE www.insidepoolmag com/gallery2/v Pool+Cues+and+C ; SO THEY CAN SEE WHAT THE CUES LOOK LIKE. BOTH CUES ARE 19oz.+ w 13mm. shafts. THE CUES ARE IN LIKE NEW CONDITION. THOSE WHO ARE FAMILAR WITH CHUDY KNOW THAT HIS WORK TAKES A BACK SEAT TO NO ONE. MEANWHILE I WILL TRY TO GET SOME PICS ON THIS SITE. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP

I'm embarassed to admit that i don't know what you're talking about.can i mail the pics to you so that you can get them on the site? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks

I'm embaressed to admit that i don't know what you're talking about, but thanks anyway. I can mail pics to those who are considering buying. The quilted cocobolo is a rich dark brown with black splotchs in it,a beautiful wood.

I'VE GOT LOTS OF PICTURES OF THE TWO CHUDYS. UNFORTUNATLY I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET THEM ON THE COMPUTER. I WILL MAIL PHOTOS TO ANYONE INTERESTED. ONE THING IS FOR SURE. CONSIDERING THE WOODS USED IN THESE TWO CUES AND THE FACT THAT RICHARD IS NOT CURRENTLY PRODUCING THESE RATHER UNIQUE DESIGNS THE CHANCES OF FINDING CUES EXACTLY LIKE THESE ARE SLIM AND NONE AND SLIM LEFT TOWN. RICHARD REMEMBERS THE QUILTED CUE AND SAID I HAVE SOMETHING SPECIAL. SO COULD YOU. THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST AZers.

Here are his pictures as requested. Hope that helps.

I KNOW MONEY IS TIGHT SO FOR ONE OR FOR BOTH, FIRM. IF YOU BUY BOTH THEY COME WITH A CUSTOM 2x4 LEATHER CASE. EITHER WAY THEY ARE GOOD INVESTMENTS.

There has been no response to my offering. Is it the cues or the price? You dont see many preowned Chudys for sale which suggests that owners keep them. At for the pair I'm eating .Because I'm a newby maybe we need a escrow? Payment plan? I'm in Myrtle Beach S.C. I'll drive 100-150 mi. to show them if anyone is interested. I'm 75 yrs. old and can't play anymore. I'm just trying to find a good home for the cues.Maybe I'll give them to my 8 yr. old grandson to see what they're worth when he retires.

The quilted cocobollo cue is MAGNIFICENT in person. I saw that cue and on the strength of its beauty alone, ordered my first Chudy. I offered full price for a box cue with similar wood and he told me that fine a piece might never become available again. We eventually settled on a design, but the quilt cocobollo is truly 1 of a kind.

Best of luck with your offering here. Someone is going to get something really special and truly exclusive.
