League starts today and not one post woofing...wow!
I found out we play on Thursdays so unfortunately I won't get to hear all about the super woofing stories, hope too many team mates don't bust each other though.

So I played in that circuit tournament Sunday with a small prize pool of 1.5 million with 1st taking about 300K. About 10 minutes till start time and there are about 3500 people in there which is a lot but no bigge right. Well by the time the extended registration is done (60 extra minutes) there are about 10,400 people in it sigh.... I beat out over 7,000 people to get close to 3,100 place and that still isn't good enough to cash 
. I was short stacked with Aces first position after the button on an agressive table. I only limp as I know bigger stacks are raising every hand. Seat next to me pushes for about 5K. The seat behind the button reraises to about 15K. I of course call my all in with only about 5K as well. AA vs the all in of QQ vs the bigger stack which has A5 (still confused on his reraise...I guess trying to isolate). I flop top set with A62...turn 4....river 3....sigh.
Thank god league has started. Time to get back into pool...screw poker.

That was a case of too many chips most likely. Any two cards are good enough to play if the max you will lose is under 6% of your stack. Bad beat, won't be your last.
We only won 4-1.

Come on over, the water is nice. I play TAP Thursdays too, should say used to play TAP after my handicap went up faster than Google stock. Thursday is a good night for league with nothing else really going on. Big Dogs isn't a part of the Thursday Multi Sanction though what's up with that? We play out of Smokies now.

You were at the pool hall...the best thing going was our race to 5 which I should be ahead 3-1 if it werent for the distractions!!!! It's 2-2 right now though, you will lose your 9-7 spot if you ever back those same shots in against me!
So instead of one league with like 20 teams there are two leagues with 8 teams apiece?

Yes I think this is true. My team was a Thursday team last year out of Big Dogs because a couple of the players also played TAP. That scenario is true. I think we have the best Thursday team though so happy to find out we have more teams:thumbup:. Does that equal more money though?
I can fade one day of work after pool. Trying to fade four days is tough.:grin:
