I use Husky open tool boxes and was wondering what and if you guys might post some pics of the tool boxes that you use and work good for you
Yes I am designing a new style tool box but would appreciate input and pics so I can incorporate all of the positive attributes

I have many tool boxes that I use, if everything was in one box I couldn't tote it around, I have many large and small..I have learned the smaller ones with wheels are a pain in the ass with all the up and down stairs and the weight..so I take what I need in a smaller box to the table I'm working on and leave what I'm not using in the truck in other boxes..snap-on and stanley is my favorite boxes..I will post a pic of one of my catch-all tool totes and that's the way it is..and it gets it done...if you come up with a box what will hold all of those tools in the same size box I will R&D it for you'

Really, your just kidding right? you don't keep your tools like that do you? or do you? Why not take all your tools in the house when you go in, saves you a trip when you might need something. I move all my in, its only like 200 lbs and takes one trip.

I use about 4 large tool bags all Organized when started but huge mess by the end of 1 or 2 tables then clean out reorganize it again. I also have a Weather Guard pack rat to keep important tools from damage and long travel. Pack rat is 4'x4'9" tall works great for all my work cable [comcast installs] and pool table tools.

I used to use wheeled tool boxes but to heavy or mar up customers hard wood floor. Best to use a good thick blanket then bring in 4-5 small tool boxes each for there own specialty ie , 1 has spare parts, 2 levels, 3 small tools for stripping 3, sharp tools and markers stuff like that depending on what your expertise is basic installs/ recovers or correct pocket tightening may not need all tools all the time but if organized it makes it simpler and faster like a pro.

Pics to Moe, Larry & Shemp don't qualify.
This is a wise-ass remark.

Actually that is a dumb ass remark so now I will post in the afternoon

I'll let the first three guys figure out which one of them you thought they were

.. You are a wise ass thats for sure and many people have told me that

Better to be a wise ass then a dumb ass.
Quite frankly I could care less what you think. In your whole time on this forum I've yet to see you post something helpful and you're not remotely close to reinventing the wheel with your tool box, cuestick, tack strips or the other off the wall garbage you've posted. And fyi - I terminated my association with PTFP back in May.

actually your gifted, as you are both

this is the handtruck attachment, move all your tools in, one trip, second trip, all the rails, third trip frame etc wheels pop off, handles pop off with quick pins

much less bending for tools, adjustable shelves, light for dark rooms and much more much more

axle assembly clamps slate to go through sideways, large wheels makes it easy

multliple handles and attachments for the axle assembly which I will post later

and its patent Pending

Kind of reminds me of the bag ladies I see in downtown Seattle, pushing around those shopping carts full of everything they own:eek: All I carry in is a 5gl buck with tools, and a drill case:grin:

Glen...the "I travel light...REALKINGCOBRA":grin::grin:

PS. LEARN HOW TO SHRINK DOWN YOUR PICTURES BEFORE YOU POST THEM!!!

I make them that way especially for you. Remember the wheels pop off with quick pins, the tools stay there, never pick up your tool bags, then go get your slate. I carry the bare minumum of tools, 2 bags, of course you also have the luxury of carrying anything you want.

Check with Kerry...Ridgebackrails...he has a better 2 wheeled dolly for moving in frames...seen it YEARS ago...so you DIDN"T recreate the wheel buddy:grin:
