this is just a teaser for some cues and cases i will sell

i bought a new camera but it is too confusing with all of its abilities, but it was bought with the intention of being simple - so much for intentions

anyway, the cues were bought for what i felt was the best cues i ever found for the money - and the reason they were bought was for so many of us that r facing hard times these days

here is the what i will post, even though i still do not have the knowledge of how to use the fine camera i bought:

look-a-like southwest's with 2 shafts for less than $100

cue cases of leather - all 2x4's also under $100

cue cases of synthetic material, also all 2x4's - for sure under $100 but i must check the prices i paid in order to offer you correct prices

and i want to do this only because i feel i can give you a very good price and i am not at all looking to make money...

i want to charge only $10 over cost and i will promise to give all of the profits to charity - i do not want to make any profit - i only hope that some of us that are on hard times right now can have a good cue or case for enjoyment in pool games that give you pleasure as they do me

and that is all

one caveat is that i will sell only 1 cue/case/set to any azb address.

and finally i hope i will be able to make pix in the next following days

[sorry i had to post this without pix, but i have had the cues/cases here for about a month so i know me - if i promise something i will do it - but otherwise i am just a lazy boy - so this is now "my motivating promise"]

i hope what i did will be good for some of you. i also know that for many here they will not consider these very inexpensive items i will be selling. so in preparedness for my defense i will just say that i am using both - one [actually 2] of these cues and a case for myself

that is all i can say...

Smokey, just start pressing all the buttons on your camera, and one of them will take a picture.:grin: Good luck-I know I would love to see pics.

Also, I also remember someone on the main forum looking for prizes for a youth league they are starting up in Wisconsin. I know you are always willing to help out others.
 
Sure Ross, I've pressed the Mission Impossible self destruct button on my camera and just about wiped the flash drive.
And I still can't figure out all the features.

Smokey is one hell of a guy and Im sure no one will be dissapointed with the cues/cases.
I wish I had the funds for a cue/case deal.....any one wanna buy a wwe championship belt?? (shameless ad...sorry Smokey ;) )

it took me a couple of hours to remember it was more than one, besides i wanted to write you anyway, so i will just do it here...

i was so sri to read that your good friend is retiring. i know he had a very difficult year of loss and from all the fine folks i know from here you were one of his biggest fans for so many years.

thanks for remembering me and having a better memory than me but i just have to ask, did your sweetheart make you sell your harley, or are you still thrilling her with a ride now and then?

i took your advice and pushed a few buttons; then: all hell broke lose...

i heard wearing and whizzing and the the camera slapped me in the face and said:

RTFM

maybe you don't know the meaning of the above because you don't have a motorcycle, but roughly translated it means: Read The Fn Manual

so pls, no more suggestions

it tells me i MUST ANSWER ALL the questions before it will allow me to take a pic. it is a nazi camera made in japan and hates Jews!

i have some charity cues on hand and they are free if you need. i think i have more than a couple left. they are decent 2-piecer's with ss joints, so if that works, i can send to you. if you want a better cue for a charity auction, pls tell me the range of cue you are looking for.

i have been under the weather all day and thinking about this and i am not leaning toward a charity, i am now leaning to cost plus $0, and i will tell you why that this is my feeling - most of us have great cues, some high-dollar, some not, but still great playing cues...

but so many of us are out of work today, and as old as i am, i have never seen in my lifetime so many foreclosures, bankruptcies and heartache beyond description

i think everybody needs some 'escape in life' as i have - i find great peace in riding my motorcycles, like i also do in playing pool. i know it is escapist in a way, but i think we all need a place to escape to once in a while - we all need that.

so in the end i will not sell so many cues anyway, and besides, i do not have a charity in mind, i tried long ago to set up a Xmas fund but nobody came to offer Real Assistance according to their means and i got very pissed off, and i do not want to relive that - so i do not want to ask again

but i think i, and you, and all of us owe a great deal to AZB. so i will ask Jerry and Mike and Mr. Wilson if it will be okay that i will send send some contribution to AZ - that will be from me and only me

you are already a contributing member here and to me that is great, so i will keep you posted of what the powers here tell me

as for the cues/cases, mostly i have failed in trying to be kind, but i know that sometimes i have succeeded. that is all i can hope for
