Here's a tip to sanding really bad seams...flat.

You are right

Not sure what started this pissing contest, but lets head it off before it gets out of hand. Insults towards other users because they don't agree with you (or because you feel that they don't impart their knowledge the way you would prefer that they do) are not appropriate around here.

Mike

THANK YOU Mike

I said I would pass. Why are you so upset? Everyone loves to bust my balls all the time

Including you

Passing....John....is not even getting on your key board to even make an entry on this thread;) but you did...I'd rather you just get it out in the open....if you have something intelligent to say...then say it;)

You invite the ball busting, I guess it's your way of getting attention;) I didn't invite anything in this thread from an outsider...this thread was about what Zach is learning...and maybe something for someone else to learn that maybe didn't know how to sand repaired seams flat. In other words...this wasn't an "I...I...I" thread...as "I" don't give a damn about them...but what I do care about...is "Mechanic's" learning something new..that they maybe didn't already know...as a way of hopefully someone else learning something.

I'm a top table mechanic, and don't need AZBilliards.com to make a living;)

But because of AZBilliards.com....I have been fortunate to be able to meet many other table mechanics, and teach what I know to many...many more mechanics that I'll probably never get the chance to meet. Which is why I not only don't....but won't post on ANY other forum, because I feel like this is "my" forum...to be able to reach all those interested in learning;)

Can YOU say the same John?

Glen

You said I many times and you continue to try to tell everyone that only you know everything and noone else does unless you told them

You should read what Mike said again and again until you understand it

Well then...maybe you should get up off your dog and pony show...about tool boxes, game show trivia, tools out of pool cues, steel balls rolling on glass for level...and guessing games....and CONTRIBUTE something here on AZBilliards.com "Talk to a mechanic" forum...that is MEANINGFULL...so "I" don't have to do all the "Show'n tell" buddy;)

Show people in this forum....that you know how to "mechanic"...no one's stopping you from posting intelligent things....except YOU;)...

Come on down....lets see what you know there big boy;)

Glen...the "Realkingcobra";)

You can't appreciate the things I say or do. That's just what Mike was saying. Anyone Says anything and unless their on your side you mock them

I will have an Otlb summary thread to review all of the things I have done. You do one to New things! Lets compare notes

Yours shouldn't take long

This week alone two masters with 100 years experience met me and reviewed OTLVISE

You can start showing your stairclimber, and ultimate rail tooling and ext DVD and and and changes to bevels any time

That is simply not true........RKC just points out better ways to do something....I don't call that mocking....I would think any mechanic (new or old) would always be looking for and appreciate a better process.

It is not his fault that very few other mechanics can match up to his workmanship.......or match the customer demand for his work to be performed.

Why is it people will wait a month(s) to have him do the work instead of getting other mechanics that would be available much sooner?

Why is it that (multiple) mecanics have asked to be trained by him?

Results speak volumes....Many have seen RKC's results.....and "customer" feedback.

I can't recall any "customers" starting a thread and posting pictures because you just blew them away with your workmanship and willingness to go the extra mile.....or 1000 miles in some cases.

I have seen that from RKC...and that is what I call "results"............

I would rather wait a month...;)

John, do SOMETHING that deserves "appreciation"...and you'd get it;)

Anyone Says anything and unless their on your side you mock them

Really...like who...that didn't deserve it? I'm not going to stand by and watch someone rip a customer off...knowing what they're doing is wrong, so I don't consider that "Mocking" anyone. YOU...are the only person that says I mock people...YOU are the only "Mechanic"...that has ever said you have a problem with me...ANY one else ever ACTED the way YOU have in this forum?...NO

I will have an Otlb summary thread to review all of the things I have done. You do one to New things! Lets compare notes

Would you like an idea...as to what you can do...with your notes?

This week alone two masters with 100 years experience met me and reviewed OTLVISE

What...is the reason you mentioned "Masters"...a way of trying to gain credibility to something you're working on?..."Masters" at what...listening to your BS?

You can start showing your stairclimber

Buddy...I'm not planning on showing it when it's finished....I'm taking it straight to market...world wide...because I don't play games like you do.

John........I'm not going to play your little games of "Hey...WHAT about me?"...As far as competing with accomplishments...you have got to be kidding me;) First off,....you haven't come even 25% close to what I've done in the last 27 years in this industry buddy...and NOW...today...you want to compare who's done what???? What a joke....YOU have BOUGHT two Diamond pool tables...or have you forgotten that already?

Do me ONE favor....show me YOUR coin-operated pool tables...that YOU designed...or how about the worlds best ball polisher???

I'm NOT going to release the tooling for rebuilding rails openly on the market...or a DVD as to how to build them yourself...that was NEVER my intentions when I designed them. ONLY certain mechanics will ever get there hands on this kind of knowelage...and trust me...they're not going to be turning it over to anyone either...reason being...because of people just like YOU.

For once, some mechanics have their hands on something that gives them the ability to do specialized work that NO ONE else can perform...which does make them special table mechanics...and I'm not going to support the whole industry running around thinking they know how to rebuild rails too...because it can have a negative effect...on this industry as well, but you don't need to worry about that, that is...because it'll never pertain to you.

John...stop trying to compete with me, as it seams like that all you care about....you haven't done nothing in this industry...compared to what I've accomplished...and still have plans for.

Get...a....life;)

PS. John...if you want to show me something....please...show me that you're a table mechanic...as I haven't seen any of your work as of today, so I don't really know if you can even do top notch work...and when you mention other "Masters"...I guess you don't include yourself in that catagory...or you wouldn't need their opinions...unless you were just after their attention as a way of saying...."Hey...look at me, and what I've done, do you think it's cool or what?

Bla bla bla you should have been a politician

OTLVise is a tool that every mech can use

They don't have to carry slate

I would call that a valuable contribution to a profession burdened with back problems etc

You think I haven't shown anything?
10 10 10

Everyone needs a dolly, one that can move anything is very nice. Slate or a mobile work center. Selling them already. Lol

You can carry slate or roll it, never lift it. I told you before Glen, I don't give up!

Can look more like a professional

And make more money in other ways

Not just a guy who you like.

Any time a guy comes in here and starts sharing you run them out. You started with AL Conte remember? He told me. What happened to the Penguin

You insight others with your comments because you have been on here a long time

There are plenty of guys here that don't like you but probably not as many as me

The difference between us is when I talk to a master I listen and yes I want their approval so I know my invention works

They loved it!

You are like a proverb

You give a man a fish and I challenge a man to think before giving answers so he learns how to

Today I will show something new again. An even better use for a pool cue when working on a table. It's over your head for sure

Does the slate magically get on and off the dolly and then beam itself onto the frame?
