Sportcraft Aramith Balls

I was looking for a cheap set of balls for my kids to use on my table. I just ordered this set of Sportcraft Aramith ball set from Costco. Anybody try these? Here is link http://www.costco.com/Browse/Produc...=en-US&Sp=C&hierPath=111*41613*57176*&topnav=

I have never seen them for sale anywhere, none of my wholesale suppliers sell them, hell if they cost $34 wholesale would be around $17.

I don't think the quality can be that good, but I would not use the cue ball that comes with the set. I would use a regular Aramith Cue or a Red Circle. Cheap balls especially cue balls can leave friction marks all over the cloth, if your cloth is old this should not be a problem, but new cloth could end up having White Spots all over it.

Hope this helps

seems like a very nice set for the money....it says they are phenolic, so that in itself should be a lot better than the typical cheap polyester balls. shipping is included too, what a deal! I may have to buy a set myself, would be a great "beater" set to have around. let us know when you get them how they are!

I bought a set for a bar table. You get what you pay for. My set chipped alot and the numbers faded quick

I agree. They are silk screened set. Stripes and numbers and colors basically painted on.

For kids to bang balls around i think they still would do the job.

I think they would be good to throw at cats getting in your trash cans late at night. Dont know about playing pool with them tho.

That is the set that came free with my table. Never had a problem with it but I replaced it with a better aramith set early on and I don't break or jump on my home table very often (too noisy in my apartment :sorry:) so they didn't get too stressed.

I think the material is similar (if not the same) to other higher priced aramith sets... and the box it came in said nothing about aramith although it did include a promo triptych of saluc inside.

Most likely a low end ball set made specifically for Costco.
