Another scam to beware of

I had a less clever scam pulled on me. I listed a 740il on autotrader and someone agreed to buy it. Long story short, he sent a BOA cashiers check (or was it money order?). I was skeptical and took it to the bank and asked them to double check it. Sure enough the BOA address did not match with the address the routing # indicated. Fraud... I never gave up the car. The bank also told me one of their tellers actually cashed a check like this a few days earlier...

its all over! i just looked into a backhoe for REAL cheap on craigs list. the guy wanted to go thru ebay/paypal consignment....something was fishy. He wanted to ship it cross country to my house cheaper then the bucket was worth?.....Lame.
 
The last part of the scam in the OP's post states the scammer intercepts the watch at the address of the car buyer? How does that happen? They camp outside and hop out of the car when the UPS guy shows up?
