I just noticed that there were 336 people viewing this Main Forum. just wondering what exactly does that mean? assuming there are 336 people looking around the Main Forum, posting, reading, etc, etc?

seems alot higher than normal to me. is pool starting to boom?

I started a thread the other day on the same subject and someone else mentioned it after me on a separate thread. This morning at roughly 7:00 there were like 450 people on. I have seen this happen when there are big tourneys going on but as far as I know there are none right now.

I noticed it too- there ARE a lot more viewers.

First reaction: I don't believe there are 400 poolplayers who can read and who have access to a computer. Heh heh.

Second reaction: Maybe it's the winter season with holidays approaching? People who were hiking, golfing, etc., in the summer are now ready to be indoors again for pool...?

Yep

I've seen up to 540 viewing at one time. Crazy.

But I guess that means there are 540 pool fanatics who are NOT playing pool!

I have noticed these spikes, and noticed that it is largely guests, which makes me believe it is highly likely that those "guests" are web crawlers, not actual human beings.
