Vegas on Thanksgiving. . .

somewhat... Venetian & Palazzo is connected. more like is the same hotel, just that the Palazzo is alot better than Venetian.

I realize that. Just being nit picky, but...I thought it might be easier sending ppl thru the right door, instead of the long way. Just sayin.

You have action at Mickey's on friday(the 26th) if you don't bet a ton! but for drinks and a few dollars, hell I'll play if your not related to God. Ask for Shawn,Tony,Shane and they will get you a game. I will be there from the 24th till 29th.

Golden nugget downtown is a great place to stay, and the steak house at circus circus is one of the best in Vegas believe it or not, or the rio for the outrages seafood buffet. Have a great turkey day with the family out there.

Not lookin to bet a ton, if at all. Just some good pool and fun with good people. Coupla bucks never hurt to keep my head in the game though.

I'm inconsistent to say the least, but I'm always up to shoot. :)

actually Wynn or Palazzo is not that far from circus circus.... not for nothing., this is just my opinion. circus circus is a dump. take your wife to the Palazzo & she will love the place. they have one of the biggest room in vegas for a standard room. you will appreciate good quality room.

When the wife's parents are paying, free is the way to go. ;)

We are staying a night at the Hard Rock when we first get in town because they won't be in town until the night AFTER thanksgiving.

Good enough! I'll just ask for the 5, 2 on the wire and can I get the breaks too? And i'm good to bet table time, but if you ajust this spot, all bets are off..lol...Hope to meet up with ya at Mickey's and the first beers on me.

Rackman. . .I can barely spot my wife the 5 and breaks, anyone that can make a ball, that bet's off. What kind of tables do they have there at Mickey's anyway? I'm really hoping to play on a diamond while I'm there, since it's been the better part of 6 years since I played on one, and they are NON existant in Hawaii. :(

Singer, thanks for the post, we'll look at that one for Thanksgiving night. And depending on the time I have, I'll try to make it over to CUE club.

Thanks again all for the suggestions and tips on what's up in Vegas. I can''t wait to be there. . .flying out in 2 days. :D

Mickey's has 5 9' Diamonds I think 8 or 9 GC's and some 7' Diamonds. Nice room you can bring your family too. Has a nice elovated bar that seperates the big Diamonds from the rest of the room

Sounds awesome. I can't wait. I'm at the M right now for turkey day dinner.

Anyone know how far the cue club is from hard rock hotel? I was thinking about checking it out sometime too.

What happened, u get scared ?

Time ended up really short Friday. And the 20 dollar cab ride each way would have been a bit excessive. I havent had any time to play pool to be honest. Really sucks, but spent a lot of time with family and daughter. 4 days just isn't enough in Vegas. Wife and I are already planning our next trip out, and we will not be staying in circus circus...was a hard change from hard rock to here.

What! no pool for 4 days?, you better have you wife bring you to a doctor, somethings wrong with you..lol...Family first is always a good thing so you did the right thing. Well now you have a little idea of Vegas & how you see things for the next time your here.Probley should get a rental next time so you can really sight see the area, so much to see, not enough time. Hope you had a good time anyway.

Too Funny!

You spent months planning...and then never got a chance to play:eek:

What's funny is...most of the married guys reading this already knew this would happen...but didn't have the heart to tell ya.

Of course I didn't...til I read 58 posts:grin:

Sounds like you had a great time anyways with her family...and that's what's important(if ya know what's good for ya)

I'm coming next weekend for 5 days. We are staying at the Aria and I will be bringing my cues...where is the best place to play (No Bar box please)?
