Hi Jen,

Just think, it was only a few months ago the Turning Stone was dead and buried! Guess Mike Z must have worked some of his magic. Wait, don't think Mike cared. Must have been the rest of the American pool world who thought the TS Classic's were great events for players and spectators. Really glad to see them on the schedule.

Im sure Mike had nothing to do with it. He actually catches heat from Players upset that they 'have' to go to TS for the points as it is an expensive trip. That's what i heard.

They don't like that they don't get seeded at Turning Stone.

Mike really, really doesn't care. With or without the top pro's, Mike will have one hundred and twenty eight players paid into the event. Since I missed it in my original post, here is what I should have used .

2) The Ultimate Ten Ball Championship. $35,000 added. Dallas, Texas. April 21-24

Does anyone have any information on the above named event? There's no info anywhere and it seems to me it's just a one-of random event.

Who is the organizer/organizer's?
What is the field limited too?
How much are the entries?
Where is the venue in Dallas, TX?
What's the website (if any)?

Thanks in advance for any information that comes this way.

I found their website, but no info other than the date.

I know that Zach Ballas is associated with the event again, maybe you could send him a PM to provide more details. His handle is rack'em zach'em.

This is the event that they started last year in Aruba. The organizer is Badi Nazhat and he is hoping to continue this event over the next few years and grow it even bigger. Zach is involved in the event as well, I believe as the TD and more.

There will be a 64 player women's event alongside this event as well that will most likely be a WPBA Satellite Tour event. I don't know if they officially signed the contract with the venue yet but last we spoke, it will be at the Embassy Suites in Frisco, TX (Suburb of Dallas, very nice area with tons to do around there). Thru my work we hold events at this hotel all the time and it's a great venue for pool! Good prices and it includes hot buffet breakfast and an evening happy hour each night.

I believe they will have info and ads up soon with the field size and entry details. I'm looking forward to a great event so close to home :)

Thanks Cris

Hey everyone, hopefully in the next couple of days I will start an official thread on this event...The website will probably be up and running by then to...(It could be tomorrow?)
