Mosconi Cup Streaming ?

Man my stomach can't take much more of this. It was in knots for most of the last two hours when our leads started disappearing. I give Dennis a lot of credit for not just collapsing after he ran into trouble after getting ball in hand. A lot of players would have just lost all confidence and played a poorly thought out shot but he stayed with it and did what it took to win.

I also liked Archer switching away from the cut break when it wasn't working for him. He seemed to place the cue ball better and he was still getting a ball down and had more balls pass the head string.

It is 7PM UK time. I'm on a short dinner break now. I can feel the pressure from in the booth. Dennis did get weak on that last rack, with two open chances to win. Anytime you let your opponent back to the table, they have a chance to get lucky. Nick came very close to kicking the five in the side.

Dennis was feeling a lot of heat on his final two shots as well. You could see him shaking and breathing hard! He could have missed either one. Somehow, some way, the USA has stayed in this match. ANYTHING could happen tonight! Now it feels like it may go down to one final match. How cool would that be. All and all, one GREAT Mosconi Cup!

P.S. Johnny showed so much heart and character in his last match. You can see why he is such a great player. I'm not sure anyone else could have pulled that one out. The entire Mosconi Cup was squarely on his shoulders!

Besides the USA pulling this out, the important thing is...Jay, didn't you win your bet once the USA got to 8?

I lost my feed when it was 4-0 Hatch, did I miss anything? :D just joking.

The way I see it is that Dennis out ran the sophomore jinx - YAY! Hope this is the catalyst to carry the USA all the way home with a victory!

Go USA!

Dave

Any other guys wives being a bag while this is on. So far the room has to be vacuum, furniture moved, music blasting, meeting on grocery list and now I have to drive 2 hours for a damn tree.

Would a court recognize this as mental abuse?

Mine wants me to put xmas tree lights up outside, and its raining, lol.

My God, I do like the European fans. They were low fiving and high fiving Dennis Hatch as he made his way to the table.

We American fans need to become more vocal and the U.S. players need to know that it is a good thing for the game.

Sooooo true!

Good job on the commentary, Jay. You and Jerry work well together.

Archer is the steel of this American Mosconi Cup Team for sure. He shows it every time he plays a shot and even when he is sitting in the chair waiting for his next opportunity.

Now, let's hear you put some feeling into this next commentary. :D

In the moment

FYI Joey, I wasn't meaning you in my post. Your post was factual and accurate.

Not like I'm the post Police anyways...

I know that but wanted to clarify it for others who might think that I am a hater.

As you and most others know, I am all about competition. I admire it, love it, and respect it. Dennis has all of those qualities along with a smorgasbord of talent.

The truth is that anyone can get ahead of themselves and I think that's what Dennis did on the 6 ball. He played that shot really fast, and didn't assure himself of the perfect angle. (and that wouldn't be the golden angle ) It can happen to anyone.

When Hatch has a chance to discuss this with the rest of the Mosconi Cup Team they will all agree that they have to shoot each shot IN THE MOMENT. There is no victory, there is no comeback, there is only the shot in front of them and they must fight the urge to live in the future.

They really do work together well. Seasoned gentlemen they are <JoeyA, did I just say gentlemen in relationship to these two...where's my pills, where did they put my pills.>

As for the commentary "feeling" upgrade request: Jay, just give a shout out to Joey A about this request. The mere mention of his name will make the difference (lol)
