It is 7PM UK time. I'm on a short dinner break now. I can feel the pressure from in the booth. Dennis did get weak on that last rack, with two open chances to win. Anytime you let your opponent back to the table, they have a chance to get lucky. Nick came very close to kicking the five in the side.
Dennis was feeling a lot of heat on his final two shots as well. You could see him shaking and breathing hard! He could have missed either one. Somehow, some way, the USA has stayed in this match. ANYTHING could happen tonight! Now it feels like it may go down to one final match. How cool would that be. All and all, one GREAT Mosconi Cup!
P.S. Johnny showed so much heart and character in his last match. You can see why he is such a great player. I'm not sure anyone else could have pulled that one out. The entire Mosconi Cup was squarely on his shoulders!
Besides the USA pulling this out, the important thing is...Jay, didn't you win your bet once the USA got to 8?
Yep, that one's over! 400 pounds, ka-ching!
Any other guys wives being a bag while this is on. So far the room has to be vacuum, furniture moved, music blasting, meeting on grocery list and now I have to drive 2 hours for a damn tree.
Would a court recognize this as mental abuse?
My God, I do like the European fans. They were low fiving and high fiving Dennis Hatch as he made his way to the table.
We American fans need to become more vocal and the U.S. players need to know that it is a good thing for the game.

FYI Joey, I wasn't meaning you in my post. Your post was factual and accurate.
Not like I'm the post Police anyways...
Good job on the commentary, Jay. You and Jerry work well together.
Archer is the steel of this American Mosconi Cup Team for sure. He shows it every time he plays a shot and even when he is sitting in the chair waiting for his next opportunity.
Now, let's hear you put some feeling into this next commentary.![]()
