Where do you guys get your exposed polished weight bolts with the hex heads for bumperless cues?
I don't think revealing sources on a public forum is appropriate.
The forum rules states PMs only.

PS... Ace Hardware is NOT where I get mine.

I've never seen a cue with an exposed weight bolt. Anyone have a pic?
Thanks for posting xianmacx, those look really cool. What keeps the butt cap from getting banged up? How about cutting a fat Oring groove on the flat face and pocket it with a touch of SG just to protect the bottom at least.
I've found McMaster Carr to have very good hardware pricing when buying on line.
"Ace is the place": How can that jingle be frowned upon hardware is even in the name I didn't know stating the obvious could cause any troubleThis question was asked in the wrong sub-forum. As logical as it would be to ask the question in "Ask the Cuemaker", for some reason it's frowned upon.
You can ask the question in the "Cue Machinery and Supplies" sub-section, as defined by it's header in the main forum front page..."All about cue machinery and supplies. Buy, sell and trade machinery and supplies."
The only stipulation is that wholesale sources are not divulged publicly, and I believe all pricing is to be private as well. Retail and public sources are to be allowed per Mr. Wilson:

I'd just link the whole thread, but it was ugly and took awhile for the clarification to come, so I'll spare that.
