All I can think is is Santa taking a last break before his rounds start! He is basically a frugal guy, note the $5.00 Bill on the string.

The e-cards are from Jacquie Lawson's website. I wish I could have a website like this. I would retire. All her e-cards are so cool. I especially enjoy the ones with the dogs and cats.

Here is the link. You can subscribe for $12 a year, I think it is. Her cards are "the" best.

Earl was hospitalized a month or so ago, but he's back out now and doing okay. In that YouTube diddy, the gentleman sitting down on the far left playing guitar and the gentleman standing up on the far right playing bass guitar are his two sons.

Earl Scruggs will be 87 years old next month. He's well known for his three-finger-picking style of banjo playing, as opposed to those who clawhammer a banjo.

I have been to several Flatts and Scruggs bluegrass concerts many moons ago, and they were so much fun. Everybody is dancing in the audience by the end of the concert. It is quite unique compared to rock concerts.

With the advent of Internet technology, it is so easy to send e-cards today. I received the cutest e-card from a work associate yesterday. It truly just warmed my heart. I hadn't seen her in a while, as I've been working in another locale. She took the time to remember me. I thought this was so cool:

I don't understand why, but this takes me back to my childhood and makes me cry happy tears each time I see it. :o
