I noticed a lot of people taking photos, but I havent seen any of them surface.

Come forth shutter bugs and share your talents.

Photos of this event have been on Azbilliards Main Page for almost a week now: http://azbilliards.com

HTH!:)

JAM! You're my hero.

This is going to sound bad, Ive never scrolled down on the main page to even notice there was anything down there......

Now, who can teach my how to borrow the pictures of myself?

I would just contact the photographer. He/she most likely would be happy to email you a copy of the picture.

Seems easy!

I'll do that today.

Thanks for the tips.

There were other people taking photos aswell but they asked for our names/email addresses so hopefully they get in touch with us.

Not a single one of me :frown:

And I was looking for you, too! Are you sure? Did you look in both groups? Maybe they did not post *all* the photos. I know that sometimes the photographers take 300-plus photos, but they may only publish 30 or so on AzBilliards.

If we go to Turning Stone next August and you are there, you can be sure I will be taking your picture!

On the computer you can save any picture in the web browser by pointing to it with the mouse, right click should bring up a menu, and pick save image as.

As others pointed out, contact the photographer, you'll get a better version of the picture. Credits should be listed near the pictures or as a watermark inside in the picture.

That was Mitch Heydt who asked for your name and email after your match on Table 10 against Dwight "Chocolate Thunder" Dixon, that ended in 9-7. You'll see Mitch's Photos around the front page often enough.

Bruce Clayton is a photographer that works @ the casino, his handle here is pushinfaders, I remember seeing him take some pictures, he might have one of you.

Not when Flash is used... You can't right click and 'save' images to your hard drive. Go to the Gallery and try, it won't work.

Contacting the photographer IS the way to go. You might get lucky and get one sent for free. If not, please understand it cost a lot of money to travel to these events and shoot photos. The cost of the airline tickets, hotel, food, camera equipment-computers-photo editing programs, and booth rentals sometimes as well.

In the Billiard world photographers are mostly on their own as far as expenses go. The magazines don't have full time photographers working for them. They pick and choose from several photographers. You might get lucky, you might not!

It's tough enough for billiard photographers with this 'digital' age about. Everyone owns a camera, or phone w/cam these days.

Money is tight, I know. It is for the photographer too, please keep that in consideration.

Just a quick story....I was working an event (BCA Vegas) and was asked to go take photos of a player. Quite a long walk, I might add!! Went and got the shots, and told the player to come by the booth after his match to view his photos.

He came by shortly after, (with small son in tow) I pulled up his photos on my computer. Next thing I know he's got his pocket cam out and takes a photo of my photo. (On comp screen) He said 'thanks' and walked away.

I could have strangled him.

Thank you for this post, he showed me a photo on his camera that looked awesome. Was hoping to get a copy somehow.

Dwight was a great guy for my first Turning Stone match, other then playing like a complete donkey, at the very least I had a good time.

I hope that the photos come around eventually, I dont travel to any events myself so its kind of cool to see a photo on Azbilliards of my ugly mug!

I messaged Diana Hoppe without a reply as of yet. I think I messaged last week via facebook.

Thanks for the advice and tips.

I'm a little late on this but I just posted a handful of photos I took during the weekend at the event. All posted photos are from Saturday with the exception of the photo of Stevie Moore's foul. Unfortunately the ball is entirely in shadow and can't be seen in the photo.

Sorry, I have no photos from earlier in the event.
