I live in the San Francisco Bay area and from what I've heard he doesn't play pool anymore but he is still living in the area. If nobody posts with info, I'll ask around with some of the older guys that know him and get you some accurate info.

I just spoke with a friend who recently moved from the Bay Area. He said that shortly after Chalkers in San Francisco closed (where Billy was the house pro), Billy quit playing pool. Then about three years ago, my friend attended a timeshare sales event and ran into Billy. My friend asked Billy what he was doing there and Billy explained that he was part of the sales team. My friend thinks Billy was still doing timeshare sales as recently as last year.

He was doing a little bit of pool stuff for awhile after Chalkers (lessons or some kind of league stuff- not playing) in the North Bay, but its been years since I've seen him in a local pool hall and the timeshare story is correct from what I recall when I talked to him last.

I put that handle on Billy back in the late sixties in San Leandro, Ca. He was just a "kid" then.
