This event is just the sort of thing we need. Pool is a fringe sport, and will continue to be. So catering these events on a smaller scale/alternative media is the way to go. I encourage everyone interested to purchase these type of PPV's as that alone is what will promote more of the events. This match should be good, I expect JA to pull off the win, but with Earl it's always exciting to watch.

I would not bet on a match between 2 guys that had toured together putting on exhibitions, it just does not sound right. It would be like Bustamante and Efren having a 'grudge' match ...
Grudge matches are born out of 2 players that do not like each other, and not 2 friends.
BTW, I do not care for how it is to be scored with so many points for the 14.1 leg of the match. Either one of those 2 can run 100 or 150 and out in 14.1 and win the match with that leg of the match only. There should be equal points available for each of the 3 legs of the match.

Easy big guy. The two are hall of famers. Why does every match these days labeled a dump job? Their is no tie in this match...someone will come out a loser no matter what the cash payouts look like. This he will wear long after the money is gone.

Let me explain real quick. Earl and Johnny have not been on the road together for about 2 years. The reason for this is because of the issues they have with each other. They have known each other for years obviously but You can't call them friends, You are just guessing they are and do not know how they feel about each other. They respect each others game THATS ALL!
To your second point that each leg of the match should be worth the same. Think about that one for a second and you may answer your own question, Ok I will give you the answer.
Race to 15 8-ball = 15 points available
Race to 15 10-ball = 15 points available
Race to 150 14.1, each 10 points worth 1 point = 15 points available.

Professor, no problem doing that at all. who is gonna put up the $10k? We can do this anywhere as long as we have the sponsors. Unless you want to put it up?
There are a lot of things to consider with these deals, I wish we could get paid for rail action but we can't. In a perfect world we would be able to have cameras when and where we wanted them, a line of people wanting to sponsor the event, a promoter with deep pockets and 10 million fans wanting to pay to see it.

Johnny gives Earl huge compliments and then bluntly ASKS Earl to reciprocate the compliments and instead Earl ignores Johnny's request and instead props himself up even more when asked if Johnny is as good to play with.

I mean, take a look at Johnny in that interview when Earl is asked how good Johnny is and ignores the question, that is not a happy guy, Earl totally dissed him off there.
And shortly thereafter they were no longer touring together. Go figure, Johnny in his own right is a very self confident guy with alot of pride and Earl very near shit on him in that interview.
Not sure how hugely strong this friendship is at this point.
