Shout out to Denver AZers -- Let's play some basement pool

Hey Guys and Gals --

I mentioned on another thread that I'd be happy to open my basement table and bar to others who are interested in a meet and greet. So let's hook up by PM and get this going. I've got a nice 8-foot Kasson table with Simonis and Artemis. Drinks would be BYO.

I'm retired, so afternoons or early evenings suit me best, but I'm flexible. With all ourlocal pool halls shutting down, let's take matters into our own hands, save some dough, and meet one another.

We can arrange it by PM, by leaving e-mail addresses and using the "reply all" button. Sooner is better than later, because the powers that be at AZ have indicated that I'm due for a lifetime ban, for reasons I'm not willing to address on this thread..

I lived a happy life without this forum, so I can accept that. Still, if I made a pool-playing friend or two from this seven-year journey, that would be a victory.

PM's, please.

I hope you shape up then, Pal!

I like having you around and I would be seen at your place if it wasn't so damn far away!

Paul:

I find myself in the Denver area (Littleton these days, actually) twice a year to visit my folks that retired out there almost two decades ago. Although this past Christmas holiday vacation I didn't get to play much pool (I mostly donned a toolbelt this go-round to help my folks settle into their new home -- they recently moved from Lakewood to Littleton), I'd welcome the opportunity to meet & greet when I am out there next time, which hopefully is in the summer. I'll PM ya.

P.S.: Golden, eh? Unfortunately I'm not a Coors guy. My "beer training wheels" came off long ago, so I'll have to bring something with more heart to it -- Guinness. ;) :p

Update

Right now I'm trying to sked this for Wednesday afternoons. I've answered the several PM's I got with my phone and approx location. Still happy to hear from more of you all.

I could do it if it were nights. Remember, I still have to go to work during the day unlike some of ya'll retired old farts!

Kind of iffy for me to make it but don't count me out. Road conditions are the a big factor this time of year, but showing up now and then is on my short list:grin:.

Cuebuddy is dying to see if Ted really needs weight:rolleyes:

I'd be happy to try weekends if that would help. I could even go evenings on weekdays (but not past 11). But we need a consensus, so lemme know. Cheers
