Dear OP,
Are currently apprenticing to take DCP and Coco's place, and bring it to the next level?
There are really no stupid questions in life except the ones like this.....because we dont do that.
If you want to be johnny cotton picker # 2 then thats just fine, hell i got a roll back the other day at home that hooked me, it was caused by a tiny speck of chalk.
But the main reason this is stupid is because you were obviously thinking of curling...........in curling they play on ICE, we play on CLOTH
they sweep so as to melt the ice making a very thin water layer on top so that they reduce friction thus giving more glide.........
but if you want to try and see if sweeping your hand back and forth will get that extra roll........its not going to work.......not unless if the cloth was like buckwheats head.
If there were really long fibers on the table that when not "laid" down it could cause it to slow then, and your idea would be somewhat feasible.....
but the cloth we play on is very consistent so your not going to accomplish anything excepty looking like your riding the short bus, OR your going to foul the CB with your broom buddy lmfao.......
please ask all the questions you like, BUT at least make them something thats in regard to the game, and not some "What IF" old comic book crap.
there are many many answers we have to give on this board to people........and it NEVER ends so sometimes its brutal to see junk like this.
Because the thing is many of us WANT to answer ALL questions.......
that said you have this peter pan question answered along with all the woofing we are giving you.
If you ask enough of them we will cringe every time you start a thread because your going to make us gun shy so your questions won't get as many good answers because we wont be reading your silly threads.
please don't be thick as a group of us spends way too much time here, along with having BUILT the forum into what it is today with its huge array of knowledge for FREE........this board is the most condensed quantity of information that a person could ever hope to find on a subject.
There are some amazing books on the game out there but none of them hold a candle to whats on here.....its dam near ALL here if one so chooses to use the search function to find it.
And that goes for playing, teaching, working on tables, building and repairing cues...........do you have any idea how strong that is? Earl jumping full table with a meucci ain't got nothing on this my man.
The more time we spend on things like this the more time it takes away from adding to all the valuable infomation here, which is the only reason that people even come here........they learn then they find out its the coolest place on the internet so they set up camp.
I'll tell you this much all the barking we just did at you...........go post stuff like that over at onepocket.org and see what happens when you encroach on the retirement clubs good thing ROFLMAO.
They would start calling you short bus, and you would catch so much flac you would want to pack up your camp and move on down the road.......b/c you'd be an outsider looking in, and they would shut the blinds.:sorry::frown::frown:
I enjoy some of your posts, but ones like this get an F........don't be a knuckle head be smart my friend.
You obviously have great imagination because no one has ever thought about this in the past 100+ years except you, redirect that imagination in the proper place and you will prosper. Imagination is key in this game and a major part of the equation.
